Movement Analysis Videos: SIMM: High Tibial Osteotomy
This video shows pre and post surgery of a high tibial osteotomy. A SIMM animation confirms that the ground-reaction forces now pass through the knee. Since these forces cannot be seen in a video analysis, SIMM was an important tool in checking their alignment. The frame was not removed and the bone allowed to set until proper limb alignment was confirmed in SIMM.
