At the head of the cast of Raptors is the newly released Raptor-12HS, a motion capture camera with components designed exclusively for motion capture capability: New processor, firmware, sensor and ringlight. These new components, coupled with the combination of superior sensor and camera design, easily surpass any other camera currently available.
The Raptor-12HS operates up to 300 fps at a full resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels (12MP). Windowed resolutions at higher frame rates are also possible. With a high-speed electronic pipelined global shutter, each pixel measures 5.5 x 5.5 µm, assuring the highest light efficiency in the industry. As with other MAC digital cameras, the Raptor-12HS is field upgradeable, compatible with other MAC digital cameras and supported with Cortex software.
Cortex is Motion Analysis’ software for handling all phases of motion capture within a single program – initial setup, calibration, tracking and post processing. A single, integrated application greatly improves productivity.
